As Head of Industry Development at Screen Yorkshire until March 2011, Emma Cheshire maintained a strategic overview while delivering a practical programme of investment, industry networks and business focused events and training for the digital media industries in Yorkshire. Her approach is business oriented, such as bringing decision makers from key industry leaders such as Apple, BBC, Sony, Sky and Channel 4 to the region to meet regional businesses; or developing industry changing events such as Game Investor 2010 which targeted the new emerging private and public games development fund holders at a time when games publishers were failing.
