I am Social Artist in Residence at the Centre for Creative Collaboration, a space supported by the University of London to help make better links between Higher Education and the Creative Industries through the practice of real-life collaborations. Clare is Director of Eventus, a social enterprise using the arts to effect change. She trained in mime and movement in Paris, Prague and London and spent 10 years in small scale touring theatre.

She subsequently worked as a freelance project manager and local authority arts officer. At Eventus her work has focused on partnerships with non-arts organisations, embedding creativity into mainstream agendas. This has included Creative Places, a partnership between Eventus, Arts Council England and the Council’s housing regeneration teams. Continue reading

In the age of all things ‘social’, forging connections is now simpler, quicker and easier to do. With advancements in mobile technology and services such as Google+, LinkedIn and Twitter (but to name a few) the days of trading business cards are slowly fading away and making room for talk of “follow me on Twitter” or “connect with me on LinkedIn”.
